We wanted to bring to the attention of TFS members the opportunity to access low-cost soil sampling and certified testing under the Pilot Soil Monitoring and Incentives Program. There is a requirement to share your data and results in exchange for the sampling and testing.
Farmers could be eligible for benefits of up to $10,000 and receive assistance from Commonwealth-funded soil extension officers to interpret their soil test results. The Southern Cross University has been engaged to deliver this program, which includes arranging soil sampling and testing for those who successfully apply for assistance.
