Dawbuts Lab Closure Dates
Dawbuts Price Rise
We have received advice from Dawbuts Animal Health that some of the prices for their testing have increased. We wanted to advise members of this so that you can make informed choices on which lab you use for your worm testing. Please note that worm tests are accepted for the WEC tables from any registered lab or vet that you choose to use. Below is a link to the updated price list on the Dawbuts website.

Building Better Breeders
We received the above flyer and information regarding the Profitable Grazing Systems course, Building Better Breeders (BBB). Aggregate Consulting the local deliverer to the TFS area, are currently looking for expressions of interest from beef producers in participating in a BBB group.
The BBB course is designed to provide beef producers with the skills and knowledge to better manage their breeding herd for more profitable outcomes. The 12-month course follows the female herd over six group sessions, with each session focused on key management events. Participants also receive a one-on-one coaching session with the deliverer.
Eligible participants will receive a 30% subsidy from MLA on the course fee. Course fee will be dependent on the group location. If you would like to register to see a BBB group in the TFS area, please contact Aggregate on 02 6925 1758 or follow the link to register your interest: https://aggregateag.com.au/event-registration
WEC and Soil Testing Factsheets
With your annual TFS membership you have access to free WEC and soil testing. Available at the end of this post are the relevant factsheets for both these programs. With the WEC testing the more results we receive the more feedback we can provide on what worm burdens are doing. With the soil testing you can take advantage of the wholesale rates we have negotiated with Nutrient Advantage and test extra paddocks if required.
Please get in touch if you want any further information or require testing kits. We will arrange COVID safe drop off arrangements or postage.
